The Board of Directors of Afro-Arab Microfinance Limited will comprise of the following;

Alhaji Salamu Amadu: Businessman

Alhaji Salamu Amadu is an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in business dealings such in financial services, forex transaction, transportation, haulage, construction and real estate development. He serves on a number of boards and also a shareholding director to a number of businesses. He is currently the Chairman of Afro-Arab Group of Companies.

Hajia Hasia Adamu Idrissu: Businesswoman

A business woman with close to five (5) years’ experience in trade of clothing and fashion and cosmetics. She also has experience as cashier and secretary in the past. She is a world class business traveler with good skills in imports and wholesale supplies. She is currently pursuing a degree program in GIMPA.

Dr. Samuel Kwadwo Frimpong: Lecturer & Management Consultant

Dr. Frimpong is a Chartered Management and Administration Consultant. He is also Executive Director of Aliu Mahama Foundation and lecturer at Sikkim Manipal University, Ghana. He was an Administrative Liaison Officer in the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana up to December 2008. Dr. Frimpong holds PhD in Industrial Economics; Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) all from the Wuhan University of Technology, China.

He also holds Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration from GIMPA; an Advance Certificate in Project Management from the Pan-African Institute for Leadership and Governance Studies and a BSc in Agricultural Technology (Agric. Economics) from the University for Development Studies, Tamale - Ghana.

Mr. Eric A. Quao: Chartered Banker

Mr. Eric A. Quao is a Chartered Banker and Associate Member (ACIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana). He has more than (17) years financial sector experience spanning across multiple functions in banking and microfinance institutions. He started his banking career with the Bank of Ghana in 1994 after graduating from the KNUST.

In 2003 he left the central bank to pursue further studies abroad. On his return to Ghana he joined HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited in 2007 and served in various capacities as Assistant Manager (Banking Operations), Operations Manager, Branch Manager, Business Manager. In 2012, he joined The Royal Bank as Vice President (Branch Banking) and he played an integral role in setting up the first branch of the Bank. He later served as Head, Central Processing at the same Bank.

Mr. Quao also worked at Trustlink Microfinance Limited as Chief Operating Officer and also at Association of Rural Banks-Ghana where he was the Deputy Executive Director. Mr. Quao holds MSc Accounting & Finance (The University of Northampton, United Kingdom); Postgraduate Certificate in Financial Management (Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany); Mr. Quao is also a Certified Credit Administrator (MSMEs) and has participated in various banking and microfinance training programmes.
